Environmental Management Plan

The Crossfire Environmental Management Plan.

The crossfire EMP will focus on 4 key Environmental issues that are considered to be both important and create value.

These 4 factors are:

1. Water Management
2. Waste Management
3. Electricity management
4. Technology

With keeping in mind the financial viability. With any project under taken on Crossfire financial viability is key. What this means is that we have to meet or environmental goals while not compromising the company's ability to do business.

Water management

An issue that may not really concern Crossfire Motorcycles as it is not a large consumer of water. Although what is important is the understanding and training of the staff.

The aim is to minimize water use by minimizing of washing of motorcycles on hard surfaces and looking at alternative non water washing solution.

Another major factor is choosing of amenities in the WC to meet a 5 star water rating. this involves communication with the landlord and use our weight as a tenant to insure we are a leader in water management and conservation.

Electricity management

The important part here is the identification. In so conducting an audit was a way for a crossfire to identify the electricity usage.

Consumers of electricity are:

• Server
• Personal computers
• Router/switch
• Printers P
• romotional tv's
• Lighting indoor and outdoor
• HVAC

The importance of electricity on Crossfire's financial viability is a minor aspect but a cost that can be reduced. The fitment of timers for outdoor lighting was the first step in reducing outdoor lighting requirements. The next step being developed now is the dusk sensing auto lighting. Meaning rather than having a timer controlling the lights which at times can be wasteful the lighting will be controlled by outdoor sensors which monitor lighting levels. When the sensors predetermined level is met it will turn the lights on . In the morning the opposite will happen shutting lighting off.

Waste management

The waste management policy consists of recycling and the reuse of close to 90% of all materials used.

We can start this with the recycling.

The following materials are 100% recycled:

1. Paper
   a. All paper used at Crossfire comes from recycled and renewable sources. This is achieved by the selection of Paper suppliers that are using recycled or renewable plantation sources for their paper product. As almost none of the paper commercially available is 100% is sourced from recycled sources we make sure that the percentage of paper derived from forest supplies are purpose grown plantation pine that is renewable.
   b. The paper one consumed is recycled by Visy and is turned into packaging material or paper ones the cycles is complete. This insures the minimal footprint is left by us.
2. Cardboard both the outbound shipping and inbound cartons.
   a. As all out inbound stock bikes, quads and parts are packed in cardboard we have two ways to continue their journey. The first is all the parts boxes are reused for our outbound parts services. We don't purchase any additional boxes for or outbound requirements and consume almost 100% of all boxes received unless damaged beyond use.
   b. The packaging cardboard from our bikes is recycled with VISY to further continue on the recycling process. Again this minimizes the carbon footprint we leave behind. We are committed to separating as much of this product from any waste and deposit it into special onsite bins provided. The bins are clearly labeled as to what material is to be deposited and the staff are trained as to their correct use.
3. Clear Pallet wrapping
   a. Pallet wrapping is a recyclable product and is again handled by our partner VISY who recycle it and turn it into other plastic products.
4. Metal
   a. As a generally metal is a precious commodity Metal is the easiest of all our products to recycle and or re use. All the metal crates that are sued fro packaging of our vehicles are 100% recycled. We have many partners in this and do not charge for this commodity rather encourage the 100% reuse of all metal products.
   b. Our byproducts my consist of motors bolts nuts and other miscellaneous metals/alloys and aluminum although all are reused and recycled in Australia and continue on into many other products.
   c. The most important thing is our bikes are made mostly from Alloys, Aluminum and other materials such as plastics all which will never see the landfill. When a product ends its life it is simply on its journey to being turned into another exciting product. All this while providing jobs in Australia and being used locally and exported.
